Crochet Projects

Finished a couple of projects this weekend. I did the edging on this flour sack towel. I transferred the image with transfer paper you run through the printer. The image is from a item I purchased at the Hob Lob. I'm not as quick with thread crochet as I am with yarn. When I look at some of the fine work done by both my Buscia and Grandmother, I am amazed. I am much more comfortable with a larger hook and yarn.
Another shawl. This one the color is so delicate that it's hard to see in the photo. A simple pattern of mostly chains. I've been crocheting chains since I was 5 years old. My Buscia sat me down with a tiny crochet hook and a spool of crochet thread. I proceeded to make the chain around the world. ;-)
I didn't progress any further for many years. I'm still learning.
I baked, my honey built a new piece of furniture for our dining room, and I floofed a little for spring. More photos tomorrow. Have a great day.
