Using What I've Got

Welcome November. It's great to see you again. I love the cold weather, even the snow. I'm a winter girl, and love a cozy home, filled with family and friends. My baby's birthday is this week (he'll be 26!!!!) and then our auction is next week. After that, I can concentrate on my home and preparations for Thanksgiving.

I've been using what I have to make items for our Auction this month. I have PINE CONES, and made these wreaths . So simple. I'm handy with a glue gun, so that's what I used. The secret to a nice pine cone wreath is to use different sizes and shapes. I used spray glue to cover the wreath with clear glitter then followed that with a fine iridescent glitter.
The effect is more frost than snow. Should I leave them as is, or add a banner, made from sheet music ribbon?
Maybe less is more...WWMvdRD? (What would Mies van de Rohe do?;-) Have a great day my friends.

Hi Penny!

The wreath looks great and I love your idea of adding a ribbon of sheet music! That would be perfect!
I love the old halloween photos!!
