Vintage Vignette

I found this printers tray given to me by my good friend Donna a few years back.  It had some felt and fabric glued into some of the sections, and a few sprigs of moss.  It came upstairs with me and I had at it.  A paring knife and the vacuum came in handy as I cleared the decorated sections.  It brings so much vintage goodness to my vignette...don't you think?

A few moss covered bunnies, a couple of garden tools.

My vintage looking apothecary jars...seed packets!..That's what they need, seed packets.

My Burpee Planter's Clock, and a springtime cloche.
Why this burst of activity, you might ask...

Mike's band is traveling to South by Southwest a huge music festival in Austin, Texas.  The EMPTY NEST!!! Need I say more?  Godspeed, Unwritten Truth!  Enjoy this beautiful day my friends.

I have two printers trays. My Father in law worked for a printing company and he gave me one.....now I have his. I'd never pat with them for that reason. I have seen some really cute things done with them. Your mantle looks great.

Don't get too wild and crazy . . . with son away . . .

I had a printer try filled with miniature collectibles of my mom's. I changed things up around here a few years back and the tray went to the attic until one of the kids asked if they could have it . . .

I've never had a printer's tray but always liked them. Love the vignette, especially the little cloche! When you get lonely just think that you could have a 12, 10 and 8 year old home with you 24/7 on their upcoming spring break. Are you available lol?
