Red, White and Blue

You're a grand old flag
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave

You're the emblem of
the land I love
the home of the brave and the free

Every heart beats true for the
red white and blue

and there's never a boast or a brag

but should auld aquaintance be forgot

keep your eye on the grand high flying flag

keep your eye on

The grand old Flag!

Putting red white and blue touches all around the house.

Some, like this flag my Mom crocheted are priceless...

others are just for fun.  What are your plans for the July 4th holiday?

One hundred degrees today in Chicagoland. Yikes!!!  Take care my friends.

Love your decorations. Stay cool. This heat is bad.....but at least no flooding or fires.

What great 4th of July decorations! I'm bad about this particular holiday, I'm afraid....I think it's because we're usually at the beach! Happy to live vicariously through you, though. You're not kidding about this heat. Yuk about says it all. Stay cool.

You truly have a song in your heart for everything! I loved this!

Hopefully we will enjoy some less busy from our past few weeks. The flag is flying and I am in the mood for a parade with kids marching, patriotic songs playing.

Happy Freedom Penny!
