bunnies bunnies everywhere!

I'm working on some bunnies for a swap. Boy, are my embroidery skills rusty. This is a pattern that is old as the hills, but I'm trying to give it a vintage spin. I mean faux vintage, not real vintage like me! So far the seed packets are looking quite old, now to run these rabbits through the time machine.

This reminds me of the old days. I had a friend, Laura, and we did craft shows together back when our kids were young and we needed a little extra cash. We sold bears, and dolls, wreaths and quilts. I know I sold some of these bunnies. Sometimes we sold nothing, but we always had a good time. We were not savvy business women like the crafters and artists of today. We were just supporting our habit of crafts, forging a friendship and being there for each other. Sometimes today I think, I could sell this or that. Then I remember that I've been there and done that.

Now if my old friend Laura called and said, "Let's do a show," I might be tempted!

Celebrating our combined birthdays this weekend. How are you planning to spend this first weekend of March? Whatever you have planned, have a great weekend my friends.

Love, Penny
