Hope "Springs" Eternal

I wrote it on the wall...
(Forgot to show you this little project.  I always had a large canvas painted with
chalkboard paint here.  Then I used the canvas for something else and was not paying for a large canvas again.  Took some chalkboard paint, painters tape and had at it.)

Hung this peat pot wreath in the foyer...

A couple of hopeful titles on the book stand...

Then opened the front door to this...

The snow was almost gone, then more snow!

 Hope springs eternal in the human breast;

Man never is, but always To be blest;
The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.

Alexander Pope, An Essay on Man

 I received an invitation to my 40th High School Reunion yesterday.  Forty years...in my heart we are forever young.  I was thinking I need a sweet ride if I go...one of those scooter power chairs that seniors are always so happy to be riding in!  Cherish everyday my friends, time flies!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and for your sweet comments.

P.S. Love you Sue!

I really love your chalkboard. All of your spring items are beautiful! Keep repeating with me "Spring Will Come. Spring Will Come. " ;)

The chalkboard is so cute and I really hear that message! I love the wreath, too. Thank goodness it's sunny out today or I'd never believe spring is on the way!

Jane

I want to do that with my pantry door in my kitchen. So cute. I have been saying that and even looking for the chalk board paint. I guess I need to go to a paint store.
I went to the mailbox.....a short walk....and it was snowing and cold......spring where are you?????
