We're Walkin'

Yesterday was Ash Wednesday...the first day of Lent.  Forty days till Easter.  More snow fell, but didn't keep us from walking...twice!  We are going to try to walk our way through these forty days, to health and fitness.  The winter has been so long and so many days we sat out our regular walk because it was just too dangerous.  Honey has a reconstructed hip, and the last thing we want is for him injuring himself again. Today the temperature will hit 30!  Hopefully the snow on the blacktop will melt and we can have clear walking paths.
We walked very early this morning.  All clear and crisp.
The sky was so blue, like a high altitude sky I remember from a trip to Colorado.
The geese were flying...then changed their direction and circled again.
A great way to start the day, day two of walking our way out of winter.

The serger was humming as I completed almost fifty pillowcases.  Without my tech support, I wouldn't have
been able to finish two!  Thanks babe!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy this beautiful day.

Good for you! I wish we had sidewalks here.....I'm waiting for the thaw so I can start walking on the Prairie Path. Sunny today and almost civilized temps...hhmm, dare I say spring is on its way?
