Brooklyn Wrap Up

I didn't take many photos of the things we accomplished, but here are the baskets that Grandpa put together...

Here is the woodland lamp that matched the print on the rocker...quite accidently...
and a rabbit from the shower decorations and a duck my friend Marci made for Kristen the year she was born...

Kristen's collection of vintage milk bottles and other cool old stuff.  The view from her kitchen is about to change as they tear down that building and put up a seven story giant.

The guys taking a much deserved rest...
I made Kristen the quilt on the wall several years ago.

and my dear daughter... taking the rocker for a test drive!  (you can see the new coffee table in the backround)  Thanks for coming along on our little trip.  Have a great weekend my friends.  Enjoy this beautiful day!

Love the lamp and the material on the chair. I am so into cute little owls right now. What a cute picture of your happy daughter.
I was going to ask what that building was because I thought it was really interesting and I liked it.
Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comments. I just talked to my SIL and the injured little guy was yelling "Daddy Sit". He is getting his way, I am sure. I think Grammy will head out to see if I can find those easter eggs that have the matchbox cars in them and mail them to him for Easter.

Your Brooklyn trip to help with the anticipated arrival of your first grandchild brings back memories of my parents traveling from Iowa 48 years ago, (in April) to help with the arrival of their first grandchild.

Ahhh,, thanks for the memories . . .

Kristin, (sorry, is it Becky, smile) looks as happy as a lark in her new rocking chair. Getting some practice in is a good thing!

Happy days are about to happen very soon?
