More gifts from the garden...

All this dry weather has been good for drying hydrangeas,
right on the plant.
Popped into a grapevine wreath an easy wreath
to celebrate summer's end.

Buscia made herself known in the garden...
Volunteer Balsam in the Polish national colors
red and white.

A flower I remember my dear Grandmother planting, and she showed me
how to save the seed from the springy pods.  I didn't plant any this year,
but I like to think Buscia did.

Enjoy this beautiful day.

How cool is that Penny . . . I am sure she made that happen!

Love the hydrangea wreath! How you just "whip these things up" is beyond me - you're amazing!

Hey girl, you have my favorite flowers! I'm convinced I have some funky hybrid hydrangeas or something because they don't dry well at all. They just shrivel up, literally. It's really sad because we have a bunch of hydrangea bushes with lots of blooms but they just. don't. dry. right. Love the wreath!
