I was inspired by a crochet rose that I saw at My Country Cottage Garden, and was determined to make one myself. After searching the web for instructions, I found several tutorials that got me on my way. The lower right hand photo in the above collage was the inspiration, the others my results. The twine hearts are for a friend who says she's a twine kinda girl, and liked my crochet hearts.
These labels were a free download at Heather Bullard. Such a nice way to pretty up a plain chocolate bar.
More flour sack towels, this time with a spring theme. They need some lace and ribbon, perhaps a charm or a crochet rose.
Speaking of Spring, I had to buy some, cause it's still WINTER, and will be for a while to come.
I'm going to bake some and cook some. We'll watch the big game, but only for the commercials! (Sour grapes?... perhaps;-)

Hi Penny
The roses are so pretty!
I hope you enjoyed the commercials :) I feel the same way. Have a great week
Blessings
Rebecca
Looks like you weathered the storm ok...the bread you baked looks delicious and the crocheted heart so cute! I am glad to work on some projects while cooped up inside but I am spending far too much time on the computer!
