The world outside has gone white with snow, and we are snowbound, by our own choice I must add.
The trees are covered in white and it's still snowing.
All through the night I heard ice breaking, and at 3am it looked as bright as a cloudy morning.
My family is snug and warm here at home and in the city.
Hope you are all safe and warm this morning, and that this day of being snowbound makes for some happy memories at your home too. Enjoy the magnificence of nature!

Sounds nice Penny! It was gray and rainy outside this morning so I put the girls on the bus, put the baby in the crib and snuck back into bed. Shhhh, don't tell anyone!

It is beautiful. Glad you are all cozy.
We are surviving. Home from the dental surgery. We aren't snowed in, yet, but not moving anywhere.

It's picturesque here, too, Penny, although we're not snowbound!!! All three of my kids' schools were OPEN today! Can you believe it? So much for sledding and hot chocolate by the fire! I guess 6 inches in nothin' for us Chi-towners!

Beautiful! Looks like you took these photos in our neighborhood . . . remember now . . . "It will be FABULOUS!"
