Baking Bread

I know that some of you girls out there bake bread several times a week for your families. I, on the other hand, am a bake bread for special occasions and holiday kinda girl. Yesterday, I found myself breadless, and made the day a special occasion by baking bread.
It's a snap to make bread if you have a mixer with a dough hook, and I do. I still love the kneading part at the end, and the way the elastic dough feels when it's just right.
After the dough rises, you braid the loaves, brush them with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
.
The loaves rise again for a half hour, then 30 or so minutes in the oven and you have...Bread! Everyone was happy and I got a post that wasn't about cold and snow!!! Have a great day my friends.

Looks so yummy. Ha-ha again. I make a loaf that looks identical but it is a sweet bread with cardamon. My family can't get enough of it.

I'd like to try regular yeast bread sometime.
