Be Still My Heart...

It's Spring at the nursery!

Where do you start?

What would you pick?

$45.00 for a hanging basket... worth every penny, but too rich for me.

At my favorite nursery you can watch the koi...

Wonder at a waterfall.

Must find a tool box!

So many plants in full bloom.

Oh, the colors...

The cutest ideas.

Inspiration for my own color combinations...

Tomorrow, some of my own pots and combinations.  My fingers won't be clean till fall!  What fun!
Thank you for stopping by.

Today, while the blossoms still cling to the vine
I'll taste your strawberries, I drink your sweet wine
A million tomorrows shall all pass away
Ere I forget, all the joy that is mine...Today.

(Lyrics by Randy Sparks, but John Denver is singing this in my head!)
Enjoy this beautiful day!

What nursery were you at, Penny? You think $45 is worth it for a hanging basket of flowers? Sorry, but I won't pay that much! I just paid $10 for my hanging basket at Wal-Mart! Granted, it's not as full and lush as the one you pictured, but still...

I still need 2 more hanging baskets and also lots of annuals for pots, etc. $$$

I have 2 favorite nurseries...one is in Crystal Lake on Rt 176 - Countryside. The other is in the city on Clark St - Gethsamane Gardens.

I saw hanging baskets for $45 today and thought whatz a person to do if they need three, or five or more. Thank goodness I am not into hanging baskets . . .

I actually planted some basil today....and guess what? Son and I planted some wheat grass, as promised, and it's growing like CRAZY! Love your photos, makes you want to just buy it all up and bring it home. Hello spring, for real this time:)
