Around the House

More teeshirt yarn...though I have to give my hands a rest from rotary cutting and stretching. I sure do like the process...cutting, dyeing, folding, cutting, stretching...

I leave the winding to my dearest, I do not have the knack for it. He seems to enjoy the zen of winding. You know, serenity now, insanity later...;-)

Found a good home for my recycled tray...holding my girls.

Some pretty carnations from sweet Elizabeth...

I've put them here and there, so cheerful and long lasting.

Covered my table with a colorful cloth. Just hanging around the house, waiting for some rain and cooler temps.

The photo on my last post was not in Paris but at Ikea.(as if) Son Jon is moving. He lives on the 4th floor now. I bought him 10 of the big blue handled Ikea bags. Every time he leaves the apartment, I suggested he carry down one bag (filled with stuff) and put it in his car. I hope it works, as four flights of stairs are killers. I helped ( as did his Dad and his brother) the last time he moved...but the ol gray mare, she ain't what she used to be!

Thanks for stopping by and for all your kind comments. Enjoy this beautiful day!

Love, Penny

What will you do with the t-shirt yarn? Sure looks pretty just as it is! Where is Jon moving to?

Hope you're staying indoors where it's nice and cool!

Curious I am, "old grey mare", (not old though, or grey) what will you make with the t-shirt yarn and where is Jon moving?

Is it steamy miserably hot in your town TOO?

Is it your birthday. Maybe you just get flowers because you are so sweet. can't wait to see what you make with the t shirt yarn. You are so talented.
Fourth floor........I'd have to have an elevator for sure.
Stay cool. It is really hot here. As long as we have A/C I am okay. It was just over a year ago we didn't and the temp was 98.
