I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh flowers in the bathrooms...Had to take a photo!
The reason we went was that our son Mike's band, Unwritten Truth was playing at Summerfest on The Refugee Stage. To say that Mike and his band mates were excited would be an understatement.
Summerfest is billed as the world's largest music festival, and to be a part of it is an honor. Mike's band has worked so hard practicing and recording. I so appreciate their artistic need to create. They drew a good sized crowd, with people stopping to listen and watch as they walked by.
They had a primo spot just lakeside.
Mike's got a great voice, I've encouraged him to try a rock ballad...LOL
You know I can't stand lakeside and not watch the water...
...or gaze thorough the trees. We're so proud of Mikey, he's a fantastic bassist, and an all around talented musician. He's following his dream and we are supporting him and his band mates. I enjoy seeing him perform and I'm constantly surprised by his transformation on stage. Congratulations Unwritten Truth! Mike we love you!
Our world traveler is in London! Kristen is visiting friends in London and will visit Paris as well. Kris has friends everywhere, and now some stamps in her passport! Where did these children come from?
We love em all,(though our talented and hard working son Jon isn't mentioned in this post, until now) and are grateful that these creative, talented, brave, funny, thoughtful and caring adults make us proud parents everyday...
