A Poem

I lose my heart to Autumn--
It happens every year;
For Autumn is but a gypsy,
So full of warmth and cheer.

Dressed in dazzling red and gold,
Strolling over hill and way,
She flaunts her beauty unabashed
And draws all eyes her way.

The queen of every harvest ball,
By Mother Nature crowned,
A spendthrift at the county fair,
She flings her jewels around.

I know that Autumn's clever--
For her I'm easy prey;
She beckons with a warm bright smile
And steals my heart away.

Enjoy this beautiful season, and have a wonderful day!
