Doing it over...

We've been going to Edwards Orchard for only a few years,
but it's a must do... Since we didn't make it to the orchard this weekend,
my dearest took me, late on a Tuesday afternoon.
Let me say that late on a Tuesday afternoon
is the perfect time to go.

There were several other people there, but it felt like we had the
whole place to ourselves.

I love a moody Autumn sky.

Inside we were tempted and teased...

in the very best ways.
Never let my hubby loose in a place like Edwards.
As I browsed the beautiful decorations and trinkets,

he checked out some things too... and bought apple cider donuts
and snickers fudge!
That was after trying all the free samples.

He's bad, that man o mine.
I was having a great time, and
so was he.

See that light?  I'm making one...it's the pulley that really got me.

So many beautiful items, enlarge the photos to shop yourself.

Great ideas...

A familiar face...Anne Marie from NaDa Farm is featured in this book.
Another amazing local girl...so talented, kind and inspiring.

Candles and potpourri...

Squash and

apples.

My guy is too much...He makes me so happy!

Mini pumpkin gourds...

So true, of our family...What is normal anyway?

The sky was amazing,

and the colors on the ground just intensely beautifully Autumn.
I'll post about what I bought soon. Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments.
Enjoy this beautiful day.

That looks like a really nice place to go for a little day trip! I had never heard of it, so I googled it...did you go to the one in Winnebago or Poplar Grove? I'm normally not into donuts, but apple cider ones? I wouldn't be able to resist! Looks like that place has some really pretty decor items, too.

Wow, that's my kind of place! I would have gotten lost in there, Tom, too! Glad you had such a wonderful time. I haven't had time this year to enjoy the fall. Was even thinking the other day of how I miss the kids playing in the leaves....sigh. Well, looks like Thanskgiving is right around the corner. Happy Halloween, friend!
